M&P is the Smith & Wesson abbreviation for Military & Police. This is the designation reserved for weapons used by tactical officers and others for self-defense. The M&P 9 M2.0 is a good example. The CO2-powered T4E version is the corresponding high-end training weapon. Police and security services can use it for practicing routine operations. Authentic dimensions and functional elements, plus a convincing recoil, provide for extremely realistic handling even without live ammunition. The M&P 9 M2.0 T4E fires .43-caliber chalk, paintball & rubber ammunition. It shares many features with the original: trigger safety, Picatinny rail and adjustable sights.

A cracking marker. Almost 5 Stars...

This marker is so very nearly five out of five. In most respects it's top drawer, but it lets itself down on a couple of points. The good first: 1. Accuracy. It's pretty accurate. Within 5m you're going to be within a couple of centimetres with every shot. Over 10m, and you're still hitting within around 5cm most time. Over that, it's still a pretty solid performer and very respectable as a marker. Drop some hard, heavier ammo into it for practice and the accuracy is even better. 2. It's snappy and packs a punch. You going to feel you've been hit by a shot from this marker, no danger. The ammo travels with decent force and definitely lives up to spec, although will drop off after a few shots and I get just over two mags of decent fps before I really notice things tailing off. 3. If looks could kill. This is a great looking marker. It's very accurate, both in terms of design and weight. The trades are sharp and accurate. The moulding is good. The grip texture is excellent, even for gloved hands. The slide is solid and it really adds to the blowback feeling. 4. Sights. They're adjustable and (with a tiny bit of filling) replaceable. You can even mount a red dot. The bad: 1. The mag does not always slide in straight and it's possible to misfeed it. You just have to be careful how you insert it. Most air guns have magwells that guide the mag and prevent misfiring, but for some reason that's not the case with this gun. 2. There's a smidge of flex in the grip around the cut out where the interchangeable grips clip in. I really only notice it when changing mags, but it does let the gun down in terms of real, quality feel. 3. It only holds 8-9 rounds. No easy way round that with 43 cal balls, but still, you'll run out fast and need more than one mag to run with it, for sure. 4. Slide release catch. For some truly odd reason, there's a second slide release catch cut out on the slide, meaning when the mag is inserted but empty, the catch will flip up as if the slide is locked open. This looks odd. You can actually see it in all the publicity photos and the same is true for the PPQ too. The catch does not sit like this on real steel, airsoft or air pistol versions of the M&P9c, so I've no idea why they've designed it like this...maybe the strength of the mag follower spring? But if you're a stickler for as close to prototype as possible, this is a wee bit annoying. All in all, however. While I have a few criticisms of this marker, it is nonetheless a great gun. Works well. Looks good. A bit pricey, but then so are all paint markers in comparison with airsoft pistols. Definitely worth a buy though!
